The Mountain Valley Baptist Association consists of 26 churches and 2 missions in Lincoln and Otero counties of south-central New Mexico. Originally Lincoln Association (founded in 1887) it is the oldest association in New Mexico founded even before the BCNM. With a great diversity of churches and missions,the association serves congregations in small mountain communities to larger churches with different cultural, ethnic and social groups including the large military community of Holloman Air Force Base and White Sands Missile Range. Although the population of southern New Mexico is not exploding as some other parts of the state, there is a steady increase of growth that demands a continual witness for Jesus Christ. Acts 1:8 is our theme as we are on mission for the Lord at home and around the world.
